Statute: Solemnization of Marriage Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Business and Consumer Services dated August 5, 1998, pursuant to

Section 14 of

Chapter 436 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Solemnization of Marriage Act, is pleased to: (

a) accept the resignation and revoke the appointment of Wanda Joy Atkinson of Barrington Passage, Shelburne County, as a Deputy Issuer of Marriage Licenses, which appointment was made by Order in Council 95-135, dated February 21, 1995; and (

b) appoint John Campbell of Shelburne, Shelburne County, as a Deputy Issuer of Marriage Licenses, effective June 1, 1998.
