Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated May 8, 2009, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) lease a parcel of land and building located at Port Hastings, Nova Scotia, as described in

Schedule "A" and outlined in red on

Schedule "A-1", which Schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation, being 0.801 acres (34,904.5 square feet), more or less, to the Port Hastings Historical Society for a period of five (5) years with a year-to-year overholding, at a rental rate of $1.00 for the term of the Lease; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Lease Agreement in such form as the Minister determines and on such terms and conditions.
