Statute: Dispensing Opticians Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated April 6, 1999, pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 131 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Dispensing Opticians Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Marlene Bayers of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Dispensing Opticians for a further term of two years commencing March 1, 1999, and ending February 28, 2001; (

b) reappoint Lystra R. Dayal-Gosine of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Dispensing Opticians for a further term of two years commencing April 4, 1999, and ending March 3, 2001; (

c) reappoint the following persons as members of the Board of Dispensing Opticians each for a further term of two years commencing May 1, 1999, and ending April 30, 2001: Susan E. Feltmate of Hubley, Halifax Regional Municipality, Annette Knight of Cole Harbour, Halifax Regional Municipality, and G. Michael Owen of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

d) reappoint John W. Butler of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Dispensing Opticians for a further term of two years commencing June 1, 1999, and ending May 31, 2001; and (

e) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Dispensing Opticians for a term of two years commencing April 30, 1999, and ending April 29, 2001: Alphonse Burke of Antigonish, Antigonish County; Mary M. Tizzard of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; and Allan Moss of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
