OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated November 22, 2022, and pursuant to Sections 13 and 15 of

Chapter 31 of the Acts of 2004, the Police Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following individuals as members of the Nova Scotia Police Review Board, each for a term of three (3) years commencing December 13, 2022: i. Darlene Bowie of Fenwick, Cumberland County, ii. Don McMillan of Truro, Colchester County, iii. Lisa Emery of Amherst, Cumberland County, iv. Mary Potter of Mount Hanley, Annapolis County, v. Siobhan Doyle of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, and vi. Timothy McDermott of Upper Rawdon, Hants County; (

b) re-appoint the following individuals as members of the Nova Scotia Police Review Board, each for a term of three (3) years commencing December 13, 2022: i. John Withrow of Halifax Regional Municipality (Mineville), and ii. Kimberly Ross of New Minas, Kings County; and (

c) order that John Withrow, Kimberly Ross, Darlene Bowie, Don McMillan, Lisa Emery, Mary Potter, Siobhan Doyle, and Timothy McDermott each be remunerated at the rate of $150.00 per day plus necessary expenses incurred in fulfilling their duties as members of the Nova Scotia Police Review Board, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
