Section 25 of the Credit Unions Act,

chapter C-32.2 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1992, is repealed and the following is substituted: 1 L’article 25 de la

a) establish or relocate a branch office of the credit union or renovate or expand the premises of a branch office of the credit union, or

Section 39 of the Act is amended in the portion pre- ceding paragraph (

Section 60 of the Act is amended 5 L’article 60 de la Loi est modifié (

a) in subsection (1) by striking out “by the directors of the credit union in accordance with this Act and the articles and by-laws of the credit union” and substi- tuting “by the credit union”;

Section 113 of the Act is amended 8 L’article 113 de la Loi est modifié (

a) in subsection (1) by striking out “shall appoint, from a list of auditors prepared by the stabilization board but subject to subsection (3), an auditor for the credit union” and substituting “shall, subject to sub- section (3), appoint an auditor for the credit union”;

Section 116 of the Act is amended by adding after subsection (3) the following: 10 L’article 116 de la Loi est modifié par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après le paragraphe (3) : 116(3.1) Notwithstanding anything in this section, an appointment of an auditor, on or after the commencement of this subsection, to fill a vacancy is not effective until approved by the Superintendent. 116(3.1)
