OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness, dated June 29, 2021, and pursuant to Sections 7 and 27 of

Chapter 32 of the Acts of 2004, the Prescription Monitoring Act , and

Section 3 of the Designation of Additional Licensing Authorities Regulations , is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Dr. Zachary Fraser of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as a Director to the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board as nominated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia, for a term of three years commencing July 13, 2021; (

b) appoint Thomas Veinot of Kentville Kings County, as a Director to the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board as nominated by the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists, for a term of three years commencing July 13, 2021; (

c) appoint Dr. James Brady of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a Director to the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board as nominated by the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia, for a term of three years commencing July 13, 2021; (

d) appoint Doug Bungay of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a Director to the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board as nominated by the Nova Scotia College of Nursing, for a term of three years commencing July 13, 2021; (

e) appoint Dr. Robert Strang of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a Non-Voting Director to the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board from the Department of Health and Wellness, for a term of three years commencing July 13, 2021; and (

f) reappoint Dr. Judith Fisher of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a Non-Voting Director to the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board from the Department of Health and Wellness, for a term of three years commencing July 13, 2021.
