Order in Council 1711/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Michael Stramaglia was appointed as part-time member of the Ontario Internal Audit Committee ( OIAC ) pursuant to Order in Council 1112/2019 made under subsection 6.1(1) of the Ministry of Government Services Act ;

And

whereas Michael Stramaglia of Toronto was designated as Chair of the OIAC for an interim period not exceeding six months pursuant to Order in Council 1342/2020 made under subsection 6.1(1) of the Ministry of Government Services Act;

And

whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council wishes to confirm that Michael Stramaglia will serve as the Chair of the OIAC at pleasure for a period of up to three years from the date of this Order;

Now therefore pursuant to subsection 6.1(1) of the Ministry of Government Services Act ;

Orders in Council 1112/2019 and 1342/2020 are hereby revoked;

Michael Stramaglia of Toronto be appointed as part-time member of the OIAC to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding 3 years, effective the date this Order in Council is made;

Michael Stramaglia be designated as Chair of the OIAC .
