The first one is the Elections B.C. Report of the Chief Electoral Officer on the 2023 Langford–Juan de Fuca and Vancouver–Mount

Pleasant By-elections .

The next one is the Merit Commissioner, Merit Performance Audit Report , "Upholding Fair Hiring in the B.C. Public Service," 2022-23.

Hon. Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly, in closing this fourth session

of the 42nd parliament of British Columbia on behalf of all British Columbians, I

note that in this session, we enacted 49 bills covering areas of substance and importance

to the people of this province.

I wish to express my appreciation for the care and attention you have given to your

deliberations and the service you have provided to our great and beautiful province.

I now relieve you of your duties.
