Order in Council 570/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Karen Pitre has been appointed as Special Advisor to the Premier on Community Hubs, for a further period commencing April 1, 2017 and ending no later than March 31, 2018 to continue to work with government partners and stakeholders on implementation of the recommendations in the strategic framework and related work plan and to provide recommendations to guide the development of government policy on community hubs;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of advisors who serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities, in respect of her duties as Special Advisor to the Premier on Community Hubs during this further appointment period, Karen Pitre shall be eligible to receive the following remuneration:

Remuneration

Karen Pitre shall be paid remuneration at the rate of $750.00 per day to a maximum of $175,000 over the term of the appointment commencing April 1, 2017 and ending no later than March 31, 2018.

Expenses

Karen Pitre shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out her duties as Special Advisor to the Premier on Community Hubs in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet’s Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive .
