a plan of survey of the said township signed at Ottawa on the 7th day of March 1929,

the said Island No. 1 being now known locally as Big Island.

section thirty-two (32) of the said township, lying generally to the north and west

of the said Island No. 1 (Big Island) and to the south and east of the left bank of the

(Blackfoot First Nations Sacred Ceremonial Objects Repatriation Regulation)

Pursuant to the First Nations Sacred Ceremonial Objects Repatriation Act

(FNSCORA) and the Blackfoot First Nations Sacred Ceremonial Objects

Repatriation Regulation made under that Act, the Province of Alberta as represented

by the Minister of Culture hereby gives notice of receipt of a repatriation application

from a member of the Blackfoot Crossing Historical Foundation for an object in the

Government of Alberta's collections at the Royal Alberta Museum (RAM).

The application is for the repatriation of a:

1. Small rawhide rattle, attributed to the Siksika Nation and the Prairie Chicken or

Mad Dog Society (accession number H65.128.1) which came into possession of

the RAM in 1965.

2. Small rawhide rattle, attributed to the Siksika Nation and Mad Dog Society

(accession number H65.129.1) which came into possession of the RAM in 1965.

3. Small rawhide rattle, attributed to the Siksika Nation and Mad Dog Society

(accession number H66.87.43) which came into possession of the RAM in 1966.

4. Rawhide rattle, attributed to the Siksika Nation and Mad Dog Society (catalogue

number AF 227) which came into possession of Glenbow Museum in 1965.

5. Rattle attributed to the Siksika Nation (catalogue number AF 450) at the

Glenbow Museum.
