OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 5, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) acquire land located in western Nova Scotia, the exact size and location to be negotiated, from Harry Freeman and Son Limited and 2191766 Nova Scotia Limited, its respective trustees, approved successors and assigns, for a total purchase price not to exceed $2,000,000, subject to the condition that Harry Freeman and Son Limited and 2191766 Nova Scotia Limited, its respective trustees, approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
