1 The Appeal Board Regulation (AR 195/99) is amended by

this Regulation.

Section 17 is amended by striking out "June 30, 2016" and

substituting "June 30, 2018".

Marketing of Agricultural Products Act

EGG FARMERS OF ALBERTA MARKETING AMENDMENT REGULATION

13, 2015 pursuant to sections 26 and 27 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products

Act.

1 The Egg Farmers of Alberta Marketing Regulation

(AR 293/97) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 1(1) is amended

(

a) by adding the following after clause (c):

(c.1) "hen" or "layer" means a female common domestic

fowl of the species Gallus domesticus that is 19 weeks

of age or older;

(

b) by adding the following after clause (d):

(d.1) "on-farm food safety policy" means the Board's policy

respecting on-farm food safety as varied from time to

time;

(

c) by adding the following after clause (e):

(e.1) "pullet" means a female common domestic fowl of the

species Gallus domesticus that is less than 19 weeks

old;

(

d) by repealing clause (h).

Section 8 is amended

(

a) by repealing subsection (1)(c.1)(

i) and (ii) and

substituting the following:

(

i) lacks the ability to comply with the Board's on-farm

food safety policy,

(ii) refuses to comply with the Board's on-farm food safety

policy,

(

b) in subsection (1.1)

(

i) by striking out "subsection (1)(c.1)(i)" and

substituting "subsection (1)(c.1)(

i) or (iv)";

(ii) by striking out "the requirements of the Start

Clean-Stay Clean program" and substituting "the

requirements of the Board's on-farm food safety

policy".

(

c) by repealing subsection (2)(d)(ii) and substituting

the following:

(ii) has failed to comply with the Board's on-farm food

safety policy,

(

d) in subsection (2.1)

(

i) by striking out "subsection (2)(d)(ii)" and

substituting "subsection (2)(d)(ii) or (iv)";

(ii) by striking out "the requirements of the Start

Clean-Stay Clean program" and substituting "the

requirements of the Board's on-farm food safety

policy".

horticulturist);

(

b) by repealing clause (

z) and substituting the

following:

(

z) structural steel and plate fitter (now known as metal

fabricator (fitter));

Section 2 is repealed.
