OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Marketing dated February 5, 1998, pursuant to subsections 4(1), (2), (7) and (11) of

Chapter 117 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Dairy Commission Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Chris Power of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality as a member and Vice-Chair of the Nova Scotia Dairy Commission representing the Processor Association, for a term of office of three years commencing July 26, 1998 and ending July 25, 2001, unless sooner revoked; (

b) reappoint Hattie Dyck of R.R.#1 Brookfield, Colchester County, as an independent member of the Nova Scotia Dairy Commission for a term of office of two years commencing August 1, 1998 and ending July 31, 2000, unless sooner revoked; and (

c) determine that the remuneration for members of the Nova Scotia Dairy Commission shall be $100.00 per meeting plus reimbursement for necessary expenses in accordance with government policy.
