OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Human Resources dated May 17, 2001, pursuant to subsections 3(1), (2) and (3),

Section 4, and subsections 6(1) and (2) of

Chapter 71 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Collective Bargaining Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint William H.R. Charles of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member and designate him as Chair of the Civil Service Employee Relations Board for a term of office of three (3) years commencing June 2, 2001, and to determine his remuneration at the rate of $10,000.00 (per annum), and, in addition, $150.00 per day while sitting as a Board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

b) appoint Jamie Campbell of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Civil Service Employee Relations Board for a term of office of three (3) years commencing June 2, 2001, and to determine his remuneration at the rate of $2,000.00 (per annum), and, in addition, $150.00 per day while sitting as a Board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

c) appoint Barbara MacLennan of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Civil Service Employee Relations Board for a term of office of three (3) years commencing June 2, 2001, and to determine her remuneration at the rate of $2,000.00 (per annum), and, in addition, $150.00 per day while sitting as a Board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by her in the discharge of her duties; (

d) appoint John C. MacPherson, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an alternate member of the Civil Service Employee Relations Board for a term of office of three (3) years commencing June 2, 2001, and to determine his remuneration at the rate of $150.00 per day while sitting as a Board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; and (

e) appoint Michael Tynes of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an alternate member of the Civil Service Employee Relations Board for a term of office of three (3) years commencing June 2, 2001, and to determine his remuneration at the rate of $150.00 per day while sitting as a Board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
