1 Bill 56 BILL 56 2009 ALBERTA INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT CORPORATION AMENDMENT ACT, 2009 ( A s s e n t e d t o , 2 0 0 9 ) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: Amends SA 2007 cA-26.5 1 The Alberta Investment Management Corporation Act is amended by this Act. 2

Section 4(1) is repealed and the following is substituted: Appointment of board 4(1) There shall be a board of directors consisting of not more than 11 members appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.

chapter A-26.5 of the Statutes of Alberta, 2007. 2

Section 4(1) presently reads: 4(1) Subject to this

section and the regulations, there shall be a board of directors consisting of (

a) not more than 11 members appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, and (

b) the Deputy Minister of the Minister.
