CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Intestate Succession Act (Assented to May 19, 1981) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Intestate Succession Amendment Act, 1981. Rev. Stat. c.I-13,

section amended Subsection 17(1) of The Intestate Succession Act is repealed and the following substituted: “

(1) For the purposes of this Act, an illegitimate child shall be treated as if he were the legitimate child of his mother”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on the day of assent but is retroactive and is deemed to have been in force on and from February 26, 1979.
