OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated March 28, 2000, and pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased, effective April 1, 2000, to assign to the Minister of Health responsibility for all affairs and matters presently belonging to the Minister of Community Services pursuant to
Chapter 432 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Social Assistance Act, with respect to persons in need who are in receipt of both in-home support payments through Home Care Nova Scotia and income assistance and to ratify and confirm the assignment to the Minister of Health of responsibility for all affairs and matters pursuant to
Chapter 6 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Co-ordinated Home Care Act, together with
Chapter 201 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Homemakers' Services Act, effective April 1, 1993.
