Provincially Approved Screening Devices Regulations

made under subsection 100B(15) of the

Motor Vehicle Act

1 These regulations may be cited as the Provincially Approved Screening Devices

Regulations .

2 For the purpose of subsection 100B(1) of the Motor Vehicle Act , each of the following is

prescribed as a provincially approved screening device:

(

a) a screening device that is approved by order of the Attorney General of Canada

for the purposes of the definition of “approved screening device” in

section 320.11 of the Criminal Code (Canada);

(

b) an instrument that is approved by order of the Attorney General of Canada for

the purpose of the definition of “approved instrument” in

section 320.11 of the

Criminal Code (Canada).
