CHAPTER 36 (SUPP.)

An Act to amend The Legal Profession Act

Short title This Act may be cited as The Legal Profession Amendment Act. Rev. Stat. c.L-10,

section amended Clause 49(5) (

a) of The Legal Profession Act is repealed and the following is substituted: “(

a) affect any arrangement in writing between the solicitor and his client as to the application of the client’s money, or interest thereon, but no such arrangement shall apply to any interest on moneys of the client that has been credited to the solicitor prior to their entering into the arrangement; or”. 1977-78, c.20, s.1; R.S.S. 1978, c.36 (Supp.), s.2.
