B.C. Reg. 52/2023 , deposited March 1, 2023, under the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [section 35] and EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [section 26]. Order in Council 142/2023, approved and ordered March 1, 2023.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1, and

(

b) the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

Section 7 (1) (

b) of

Schedule B of the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended by striking out " Federal Department of Veterans Affairs " and substituting " Veterans Affairs Canada ".

Section 8 (1) (

c) of

Schedule C is amended by striking out " Ministry of Health Services " and substituting " Ministry of Health ".

Section 6 (

n) of

Schedule D is repealed.

Appendix 2

Section 70.3 (4) (

a) and (

b) of the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended by striking out " income assistance " and substituting " disability assistance ".

Section 7 (1) (

b) of

Schedule B is amended by striking out " Federal Department of Veterans Affairs " and substituting " Veterans Affairs Canada ".

Section 6 (1) (

c) of

Schedule C is amended by striking out " Ministry of Health Services " and substituting " Ministry of Health ".

Section 6 (

n) of

Schedule D is repealed.
