FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs has adopted the ST. JOHN’S URBAN REGION REGIONAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 7, 2020 on the 19th day of January, 2022. In general terms, the TOWN OF PARADISE MUNICIPAL PLAN AMENDMENT 2, 2020 adds a new policy to

Section 8.6, Commercial, enabling temporary on-site services for new development located in the Commercial Light Industrial land use zones located southwest of McNamara Drive and Bremigens Boulevard if municipal services are not yet available. In general terms, DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS AMENDMENT 8, 2020 implements Municipal Plan Amendment 2, 2020 by amending

Section 4.17, subsection 3 and adding Condition 7 to the Commercial Light Industrial Use Zone Table under

Section 9.24. THE ST. JOHN’S URBAN REGION REGIONAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 7, 2020 will re-designate a parcel of land located southwest of McNamara Drive and Bremigens Boulevard, in the Town of Paradise, from ‘Restricted Development’ to ‘Urban Development’. The TOWN OF PARADISE MUNICIPAL PLAN AMENDMENT 2, 2020 and DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS AMENDMENT 8, 2020 along with the ST. JOHN’S URBAN REGION REGIONAL PLAN AMENDMENT 7, 2020 comes into effect on the day that this notice is published in The Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette.
