Order in Council 2317/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas

section 8 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act , as amended, requires the Lieutenant Governor in Council to formulate an emergency plan respecting emergencies arising in connection with nuclear facilities;

Therefore the document entitled “Provincial Nuclear Emergency Response Plan ( PNERP ) Master Plan 2017” be adopted as an emergency plan respecting emergencies arising in connection with nuclear facilities formulated under

section 8 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, as amended.

And further that Order in Council O.C. 260/2009, dated February 11 th , 2009, be revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
