OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works, dated December 21, 2001, and pursuant to

Section 21 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, is pleased to: (

a) rescind Order in Council dated January 11, 1966, which designated a

section of Highway 104, in Cumberland County, as a controlled access highway, from a point on the center line of Trunk 4 at Mahoney's Corner three hundred and twenty-three feet east of the intersection of the extended property line separating the properties of Laurie Crowley and Basil Wilson and the center line of Trunk No. 4 and extending in a westerly direction a distance of seventeen and three tenths miles to its intersection with the center line of the Black River Road; (

b) designate as a controlled access highway, a

section of highway known as Highway 104, in Cumberland County, together with its interchanges, intersections, ramps, loops and connectors, beginning at a point of intersection of the extension of the centre line of the Black River Road and extending in an easterly direction, a distance of approximately fifteen and one-quarter kilometres (15.25 km), to its point of intersection with the centre line of the Thomson Road, as indicated on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

c) designate as a controlled access highway, a

section of highway known as Trunk 4, in Cumberland County, beginning at its intersection with Highway 104, near Thomson Station, and extending in an easterly direction to a point measured a distance of one thousand and six hundred metres (1600

m) from the intersection of Highway 104 and Thomson Road, as indicated on

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation.
