OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister Assigned the Supervision of the Administration of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation dated April 11, 2002, and pursuant to
Section 7C of
Chapter 260 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Liquor Control Act, and to subsection 18(1) of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (
a) revoke the appointment of Bruce Rogers as Acting President of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation made pursuant to Order in Council 2001-273 and confirmed pursuant to Order in Council 2001-604, effective April 12, 2002; (
b) approve the contract of employment for Andrew H. Barker as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation in substantially the form attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation as
Schedule "A"; and (
c) appoint Andrew H. Barker as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, effective May 1, 2002.
