Order in Council 1981/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas by Order in Council numbered 1694/2015, dated the 2 nd day of December 2015, James Michael Kay was appointed as the Deputy Fire Marshal of Ontario, effective from December 2, 2015, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding one year from the effective date of his appointment;

and

whereas James Michael Kay has agreed to be reappointed as the Deputy Fire Marshal of Ontario;

therefore pursuant to subsection 8(2) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 , as amended, James Michael Kay is hereby reappointed as the Deputy Fire Marshal of Ontario, effective from the 2 nd day of December 2016, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a further period not exceeding one year from the effective date of this reappointment.
