Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing dated July 10, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 300 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Municipal Elections Act , and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Alexander Hudson of Victoria County as Municipal Elections Officer, effective July 21, 2020; and (

b) appoint Debbie Kavanaugh of Halifax Regional Municipality as Municipal Elections Officer for a term commencing July 21, 2020 and ending on March 31, 2021.
