OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Heritage dated July 6, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 89 of the Acts of 1980, the Gaelic College Foundation Act, as amended by

Chapter 17 of the Acts of 1999,

An Act to Amend

Chapter 89 of the Acts of 1980, the Gaelic College Foundation Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following person as a member of the Board of Governors of the Gaelic College Foundation for a term of two years: Ken MacAskill of Englishtown, Victoria County; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Ken MacAskill and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
