PARK AMENDMENT ACT, 1999
HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the
Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:
Section 5 (4) of the Park Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 344, is amended by striking
out "Schedule E" and substituting "Schedules E and
F" .
Section 30 (1) is amended in the definition of "new park"
by striking out "or" at the end of paragraph (a), by adding ",
and" at the end of paragraph (
b) and by adding the following paragraph:
(
c) a park listed in
Schedule F; .
Amendments to
Schedule A
Schedule A is amended
(
a) by repealing the description of Cottonwood House Historic Park,
(
b) by repealing the description of E. C. Manning Park and substituting the
following:
15 E. C. MANNING PARK
All those parcels or tracts of Crown land, together with all that foreshore or land
covered by water, situated in Yale Division of Yale District and contained within the
described boundaries as shown on the Official Plan deposited in the Crown Land Registry as
Plan 6 Tube 1813; except thereout the Hope-Princeton Highway No. 3 as shown on Plans H151,
H150, H157, H158, H215, H216, H217, H218, H219 and H17630, all on deposit in the Land

northerly and easterly along the westerly and northerly boundaries of said Block A of
District Lot 4379 to a point on said northerly boundary 402 metres from the northwest
corner of said Block A; thence due North to the northerly boundary of District Lot 4379;
thence westerly along the northerly boundaries of District Lots 4379 and 4380 to the most
northerly northwest corner of said District Lot 4380, being a point on the natural
boundary of Ten Mile Lake, on the easterly shore thereof; thence in a general

Retroactive effect of legal description corrections
9 To the extent that a park description established or as
amended by this Act excludes from the park an area of land or an interest in land or
resources that was included in the park under the Park Amendment Act, 1995, the
Park Amendment Act, 1997 or the Park Amendment Act, 1998, that area or interest
is excluded from the park, and this exclusion is retroactive to the date on which the area
or interest was included under the applicable amending Act.
