OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated September 5, 2002, and pursuant to Sections 2 and 21 of

Chapter 104 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Costs and Fees Act, is pleased to amend: (

a) the regulations respecting fees and allowances for departments, officials or persons in respect of the services mentioned in the

Schedule to

Part I of

Chapter 104 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Costs and Fees Act, made by Order in Council 90-558 dated May 8, 1990, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; (

b) the

Schedule to

Part I of the Costs and Fees Act under the heading "7. FEES TO BE TAKEN UNDER THE

SUMMARY PROCEEDINGS ACT" by repealing the subheading "FOR A JUSTICE OF THE PEACE" and items (1) through (18) following that subheading and adding the following subheading and items immediately before the heading "8. CONSTABLES' FEES BEFORE JUSTICES OF THE PEACE UNDER THE COLLECTION ACT AND UNDER THE

SUMMARY PROCEEDINGS ACT": 7A. FEES TO BE TAKEN BY AN ADMINISTRATIVE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE

(1) For administering oath $15.00

(2) For swearing information $15.00

(3) For issuing summons $15.00

(4) For issuing subpeona $15.00 (

c) the

Schedule to

Part II of the Costs and Fees Act by repealing the heading "2. FEES OF JUSTICE OF THE PEACE" and items (1) through (12) following that heading.
