OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated June 6, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased, for the purpose of further capital investment in the new Northside Health Complex, effective on and after June 18, 2024, to: (

a) approve the Minister of Health and Wellness continuing the construction of the facility and make a capital grant on behalf of the Province to the Nova Scotia Health Authority; (

b) authorize the Minister of Health and Wellness entering into net debt obligations by acquiring tangible capital assets, and to execute such agreements or other documents as may be required in connection with such transactions; and (

c) authorize the Nova Scotia Health Authority entering into net debt obligations by acquiring tangible capital assets, and to execute such agreements or other documents as may be required in connection with such transactions.
