OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education dated November 18, 2016, and pursuant to Sections 3, 5 and 6 of
Chapter 37 of the Acts of 2010, the Labour Board Act , is pleased to: (
a) appoint Karen Hollett, of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), as the full-time Chair of the Labour Board for a term of office of five (5) years commencing January 3, 2017; and (
b) fix the remuneration for Karen Hollett as the full-time Chair of the Labour Board in accordance with the terms of the Employment Contract, including Appendix “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation as
Schedule “A”, subject only to variations that do not materially change the nature of the Employment Contract.
