This is a major market for Alberta's products, and this mission, and the minister,

brought significant profile for the province.

Function: Food and Hotel Asia 2018 Plus Philippines Trade Mission

Purpose: The purpose of this mission was to conduct an outgoing trade mission to

Southeast Asia, including participation in the Food and Hotel Asia show in Singapore

and an add-on mission to the Philippines. This mission provided participating

companies with the opportunity to explore additional market avenues in the area,

beyond the Food and Hotel Asia trade show.

Function: Incoming MENA Buyers 2018

Purpose: This mission served to bring in buyers from the Middle-East and North-

Africa regions to Alberta. This mission was designed in collaboration with AAFC and

food products. This mission helped to foster international relations between buyers.

Purpose: The purpose of this mission was to introduce Indian buyers to Alberta

Function: Climate Smart Agriculture Mission to Cote D'Ivoire and Ghana

Purpose: Agriculture and Forestry worked with the EDT, World Bank, and African

D'Ivoire and Ghana. The mission highlighted Alberta's agricultural expertise,

specifically focused on the areas of climate smart agriculture, and presented this

information to key influencers.

Function: Incoming Zimbabwean Wheat Buyers

Purpose: The purpose of this mission was to have a delegation of 16 Zimbabwean

wheat buyers meet with Alberta industry stakeholders during a networking dinner.

Transportation was provided for the visiting delegation from Zimbabwe.
