B.C. Reg. 184/2007, deposited June 20, 2007, pursuant to the MOTION PICTURE ACT [Section 14]. Order in Council 387/2007, approved and ordered June 20, 2007.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Motion Picture Act Regulations, B.C. Reg. 260/86, are amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 1 of the Motion Picture Act Regulations, B.C. Reg. 260/86, are amended by repealing the definition of "salesperson" .

Section 7 is amended by striking out "The fees" and substituting "Subject to any applicable fees set by the administrative authority, the fees".

Section 8 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) by striking out "The fees" and substituting "Subject to any applicable fees set by the administrative authority, the fees",

(

b) in subsection (2) by striking out "shall accurately complete Form 1 and deliver it to the director" and substituting "must provide the director with the information the director requires",

(

c) in subsection (5) by striking out "facts and information provided in Form 1" and substituting "information provided under subsection (2)", and

(

d) in subsection (7) by striking out "officer" and substituting "senior officer, as defined in the Business Corporations Act ,".

Section 8.1 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) by striking out "the Consent for Criminal Record Search in Form 3" and substituting "a criminal record check authorization satisfactory to the director", and

(

b) in subsection (1) (

c) by striking out "officer" and substituting "senior officer, as defined in the Business Corporations Act ".

Section 8.2 is repealed.

Section 12 (5) is amended by striking out "The fee" and substituting "Subject to any applicable fee set by the administrative authority, the fee".

7 Forms 1 and 3 are repealed.
