1 In this regulation,
"broiler hatching egg" means an egg that is suitable for incubation and is to be hatched as a chick for chicken production; (« œuf d'incubation de poulet à griller »)
"extra-provincial board" means the Canadian Hatching Egg Producers. (« conseil extra-provincial »)

Delegation of powers
2 The Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the extra-provincial board to promote, regulate and manage the marketing of broiler hatching eggs locally within Manitoba, and, for such purpose, to exercise all or any powers like the powers exercisable by it with respect to the marketing of broiler hatching eggs in inter-provincial or export trade under clauses 22(1)(
a) and (
d) of the Farm Products Agencies Act (Canada).

2 Le lieutenant-gouverneur en conseil autorise le conseil extra-provincial à promouvoir, règlementer et gérer la commercialisation des œufs d'incubation de poulets à griller au Manitoba et, à cette fin, à exercer les pouvoirs analogues à ceux qu'il peut exercer au
chapitre de la commercialisation des œufs d'incubation de poulets à griller sur les marchés interprovinciaux et d'exportation en vertu des alinéas 22(1)
a) et
d) de la
Loi sur les offices des produits agricoles (Canada).

Levies
3(1) The Lieutenant-Governor-in-Council hereby vests in the extra-provincial board, in relation to the marketing of broiler hatching eggs locally within Manitoba, the power to make regulations
(
a) imposing levies payable to it, or on its behalf, on producers of broiler hatching eggs; and
(
b) providing for the collection as its agent of such levies and the remission thereof to it, by any person engaged in marketing broiler hatching eggs.
Contributions
3(1) Le lieutenant-gouverneur en conseil confère au conseil extra-provincial le pouvoir de prendre, relativement à la commercialisation des œufs d'incubation de poulets à griller au Manitoba, des règlements
a) imposant aux producteurs d'œufs d'incubation de poulets à griller des contributions payables au conseil ou à son mandataire;
b) prévoyant la perception des contributions et leur remise au conseil par toute personne prenant part à la commercialisation des œufs d'incubation de poulets à griller, qui agit, à cette fin, à
titre de mandataire.
3(2) No regulation made under subsection (1) is effective until approved by Manitoba Chicken Producers.

3(2) Tout règlement pris en application du paragraphe (1) n'entre en vigueur qu'une fois approuvé par l'Office des producteurs de poulets du Manitoba.

Inspection of records
4 The extra-provincial board shall, at any time during normal office hours, make available to such auditor as the minister may designate, all books of account, records and documents relating to the receipt of funds under this regulation and expenditures made by the extra-provincial board of monies derived in whole or in part from funds received by the extra-provincial board under this regulation.

Inspection des registres
4 En tout temps pendant les heures normales de bureau, le conseil extra-provincial met à la disposition des vérificateurs désignés par le ministre tous les livres de compte, registres et documents relatifs aux fonds reçus aux termes du présent règlement ainsi qu'à la dépense de ces fonds par le conseil extra-provincial.
