Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated February 2, 2026, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 15 of the Acts of 2023, the Regulated Health Professions Act,

Section 3 of the Psychology Regulations , N.S. Reg. 252/2025 made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2025-337 dated November 18, 2025, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , hereby: (

a) revokes the appointment of Diana Read-Byard of Hants County as a public representative of the Board of the Nova Scotia Regulator of Psychology made by Order in Council 2025-141 dated May 8, 2025, effective March 5, 2026; and (

b) appoints Dan Boyd of Hants County and Victoria Brown of Halifax Regional Municipality as public representatives of the Board of the Nova Scotia Regulator of Psychology, both for a term of 3 years commencing March 5, 2026.
