Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated April 8, 2015, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 20 of the Acts of 1990, the Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia Act , and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased, effective April 9, 2015 to: (

a) revoke the appointments of Akivah Starkman of Halifax Regional Municipality (Prospect), David Nurse of Sunnybrook, Lunenburg County, Gary Walsh of North River Bridge, Victoria County, Gerald Weseen of Halifax Regional Municipality (Bedford), Laura Emery of Mulgrave, Guysborough County, Sharon Johnson-Legere of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), and Marie Comeau of Little Brook, Digby County, as members of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia, which appointments were made by Order in Council 2014-360 dated August 28, 2014; (

b) revoke the appointment of Susan Dodd of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia, which appointment was made by Order in Council 2013-259 dated August 6, 2013; and (

c) revoke the appointment of Cheryl Hodder of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member and Chair of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia, which appointment was made by Order in Council 2013-260 dated August 6, 2013 and Order in Council and 2014-338 dated August 1, 2014.
