OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Community Services and the Minister of Health dated February 6, 2009, and pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2004, the Protection for Persons in Care Act, is pleased to amend the Protection for Persons in Care Regulations, N.S. Reg. 364/2007, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2007-441 dated August 17, 2007, to clarify the meaning of "abuse" and repeal the designation of certain types of facilities as health facilities under the Protection for Persons in Care Act in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, effective on and after February 25, 2009.
