LUND First Reading Second Reading Committee of the Whole Third Reading Royal Assent Title: 1992 (22nd, 4th) Bill 349, Emblems of Alberta Amendment Act, 1993 Official fish Bill Mr. Lund BILL EMBLEMS OF ALBERTA AMENDMENT ACT, 1993 (Assented to , 1993) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1 The Emblems of Alberta Act is amended by this Act. 2

Section 1(

b) is amended by adding the following after subclause (ix): (

x) the official fish of Alberta. 3 The following is added after

section 7.3: FISH OF ALBERTA 7.4 The fish known scientifically as Salvelinus confluentus and commonly known as the "Bull Trout" is hereby adopted as the official fish of Alberta. Explanatory Notes This Bill will amend
