OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated December 4, 2009, and pursuant to Sections 8 and 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to: (

a) approve the acceptance of administration and control of land at Inner Sambro Island, Halifax County, containing a total area of approximately 3.055 hectares, and shown outlined in bold line on

Schedule "A", attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia, for the nominal consideration of $1; (

b) in exchange for the above as noted in paragraph (

a) approve the transfer of administration and control of two water lots, one at Sambro, Halifax County and the other at Falls Point, Shelburne County, containing a total area of approximately 5.842 hectares and shown outlined in bold line on

Schedule "B" and "C", attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, for the consideration of $20,300; and (

c) to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
