La Loi électorale prévoit actuellement que les documents de mise en candidature que déposent les candidats d oivent comporter le nom, l'adresse et la signature d'au moins 100 électeurs admissibles qui appuient la candidature. Manitoba's Chief Electoral Officer has recommended a reduction in the number of voters required to sign a candidate's nomination document. This Bill reduces that number to for any election held after the Bill r eceives royal assent.

Le directeur général des élections du Manitoba a recommandé la réduction du nombre de signatures exigées sur les documents de mise en candidature que déposent les candidats. Le présent projet de loi a pour objet de porter ce nombre à 50 pour les élections tenues après sa date de sanction.
