OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated May 19, 2005, pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, and

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the said Revised Statutes, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing 20,051.97 square feet, more or less, situated at or near Heatherton, Antigonish County, and more particularly described as Parcel "B" in

Schedule "A" as shown crosshatched in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) convey Lot 2005-1, containing an area of 41,360.79 square feet, more or less, to The Antigonish Special Hazards Response Unit Society, of Antigonish, Antigonish County, for the price of $1.00; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines.
