Order in Council 1095/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Building a Strong Ontario Together Act (Budget Measures), 2023

September 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Building a Strong Ontario Together Act (Budget Measures), 2023 , c. 21, which amend the Commodity Futures Act , come into force:

Schedule 1, s. 6, 7, 10.

September 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Building a Strong Ontario Together Act (Budget Measures), 2023 , c. 21, which amend the Securities Act , come into force:

Schedule 10, s. 8, 9, 11 (2), (5).

September 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Building a Strong Ontario Together Act (Budget Measures), 2023 , c. 21, which amend the Securities Commission Act, 2021 , come into force:

Schedule 11, s. 1-3.
