OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated August 23, 2018, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to, effective on and after October 2, 2018, approve the Minister of Health and Wellness entering into: (

a) a Memorandum of Agreement regarding a Provincial Extreme Heat Action Plan with Health Canada, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) a Memorandum of Agreement regarding a Community Heat Alert and Response System Demonstration Project with Health Canada, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule “B”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
