B.C. Reg. 388/2007, deposited November 23, 2007, pursuant to the SCHOOL ACT [Sections 78 and 175]. Order in Council 780/2007, approved and ordered November 22, 2007.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the Conseil Scolaire Francophone de la Colombie-Britanique Regulation, B.C. Reg. 213/99, is amended as set out in

Schedule 1,

(

b) the Education Mediation Regulation, B.C. Reg. 250/2000, is amended as set out in

Schedule 2,

(

c) the Francophone Education Authorities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 212/99, is amended as set out in

Schedule 3, and

(

d) the School Calendar Regulation, B.C. Reg.114/2002, is amended as set out in

Schedule 4.

Schedule 1

1 The Conseil Scolaire Francophone de la Colombie-Britanique Regulation, B.C. Reg. 213/99, is amended

(

a) by repealing

section 2,

(

b) in

section 5 (1), by striking out "directors" and

substituting "regional trustees", and

(

c) in

section 6, by striking out "director" and

substituting "regional trustee".

Schedule 2

Section 1 of the Education Mediation Regulation, B.C. Reg. 250/2000 is amended

(

a) in the definition of "disputant" , by striking out

"school board" and substituting "board of education",

(

b) in the definition of "dispute" , by striking out "school

boards" in both places and substituting "boards of education",

and

(

c) by repealing the definition of "school board" .

Schedule 3

1 The Francophone Education Authorities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 212/99, is amended

(

a) in the provisions listed in Column 1 of the attached Appendix by

striking out "chief financial officer" wherever it appears, and

substituting "secrétaire trésorier",

(

b) in the provisions listed in Column 2 of the attached Appendix by

striking out "director" wherever it appears and substituting "regional

trustee",

(

c) in the provisions listed in Column 3 of the attached Appendix by

striking out "directors" wherever it appears and substituting "regional

trustees",

(

d) in Item 2 of the Déclaration de Vote in

Schedule B, by striking

out "directeurs" and substituting "conseillers régionaux",

(

e) in the Sermant d'Entrée en Fonction in

Schedule C, by striking out

"directeur" in both places and substituting "conseiller

(

(

a) in

section 9 (3), by striking out "school board" and

substituting "board of education", and

(

b) in

Schedule 1 (Supplement), in the columns for 2010/2011 and

2011/2012 opposite the Designation "Schools reopen after Winter vacation",

by striking out "Monday" in each place it appears and substituting

"Tuesday".
