B.C. Reg. 53/2024 , deposited March 6, 2024, under the MOTOR VEHICLE ACT [sections 210, 212 and 216]. Order in Council 106/2024, approved and ordered March 6, 2024.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Motor Vehicle Act Regulations, B.C. Reg. 26/58, are amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

1 The Motor Vehicle Act Regulations, B.C. Reg. 26/58, are amended in

section 1 of the

Schedule to Division 7 by striking out " A commercial motor vehicle shall be marked as required by the Commercial Transport Regulations,

section 3.04, with the words "G.V.W. kg" and when applicable "Farm Vehicle." ".

Section 10.07 (5) (

a) is amended by striking out " a licence or permit under the Motor Carrier Act or ".

Section 11.01 (3) is amended by striking out " a licence or permit issued under the Motor Carrier Act or ".

Section 25.01 (2) (

d) is amended by striking out " a licence under the Motor Carrier Act or ".

Section 25.16 (a), (

b) and (

c) is amended by striking out " the Motor Carrier Act or ".
