OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated February 26, 2019, and pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act , and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway, identified as Parcel 13-1, containing an area of 1,583.9 square metres, more or less, located at or near West River, Antigonish County, more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the conveyance of Parcel 13-1 to Donald C. Poirier of West River, Antigonish County for the consideration of $5,000.00 plus $750.00 HST for a total purchase price of $5,750.00; (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to affect the conveyance of the land herein above described; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
