Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness, dated January 11, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 32 of the Acts of 2004, the Prescription Monitoring Act , and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to:

a) revoke the appointment of Dr. Judith Fisher of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a Non-Voting Director of the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board made by Order in Council 2021-190 dated July 13, 2021, effective February 1, 2022; and

b) appoint Dr. Samuel Hickcox of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a Non-Voting Director of the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board from the Department of Health and Wellness, for a term commencing February 1, 2022, and ending on July 12, 2024.
