OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister in charge of the Administration of the Heritage Property Act dated June 29, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 199 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Heritage Property Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property, each for a term of three years commencing August 4, 2010: (

i) Kenneth M. Isles of Mount Uniacke, Hants County; (ii) Kenneth Langille of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County; (iii) David Murphy of Kingsburg, Lunenburg County; (iv) Peter Newbould of Grand Pr?, Kings County; (

b) determine the remuneration of each of the members appointed to the Advisory Council on Heritage Property to be $75.00 per meeting plus reasonable expenses; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate, or settle claims or charges made against Kenneth M. Isles, Kenneth Langille, David Murphy and Peter Newbould and indemnify them from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
