In accordance with section 4(1) of the

Interpretation Act, this Bill, except section 2(3), comes into force on the date it receives Royal Assent. Explanatory Notes This Bill will amend

chapter D-30 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta 1980. 2

Section presently reads as follows: 10(1) The Minister shall establish and administer a revolving fund for his Department.

(2) The Provincial Treasurer, on the requisition of the Minister, may make advances from the General Revenue Fund to the revolving fund of any sums the Minister may require to pay for land, machinery, vehicles, equip ment, stock or material required by the Department.
