OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Heritage dated November 21, 2008, and pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 315 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Nova Scotia Museum Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Sharon Ross of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Nova Scotia Museum Board of Governors for a term of three years commencing December 16, 2008; (
b) reappoint David Williamson of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Nova Scotia Museum Board of Governors for a term of three years commencing December 16, 2008; and (
c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Sharon Ross and David Williamson and indemnify them from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointments and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
